Morrison (born October 6, 1881) received his B.S. in Chemistry from Lafayette College in 1905. He was a member of Chi Phi Fraternity, the Knights of the Round table, captain of the football team, and leader of the Glee Club. He worked as a superintendent for a number of steel companies.
